Danny Draven, a highly acclaimed director and producer of genre films, calls Atlanta, Georgia his home. Following his graduation from Boston with a film degree, he relocated to Hollywood, where he quickly rose through the ranks, producing and directing science fiction and horror films for renowned genre studio Full Moon Pictures. Notably, he was involved in the acclaimed Puppet Master series and Trancers, refining his skills before establishing his own successful production and post-production company.
Throughout his illustrious career, Draven has edited over 150 feature films, including titles for prominent studios such as Lionsgate, NBC Universal, SyFy Channel, and Lifetime Movie Network. He has had the privilege of collaborating with and being mentored by industry legends, including the master of horror Stuart Gordon, celebrated cinematographer Mac Ahlberg, and the late Harry Bring, an executive producer with credits including The X-Files and Criminal Minds.
Draven has also had the opportunity to work with executive producer Mark Ordesky, who was involved in the production of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. As a published author, he has written three internationally published books on genre filmmaking, including The Filmmaker's Book of the Dead and Genre Filmmaking.
In addition to his impressive credits, Draven is a member of the Producers Guild of America and has recently directed a new thriller film, Restitution, for The Ninth House.
