Daphne was born in the beautiful island of Cyprus, a country located in the eastern Mediterranean, and received her academic training at the prestigious Oxford University and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
She began her acting career with a stint on the BBC's popular medical drama "Casualty" from 2006 to 2008. Her television credits also include the critically acclaimed HBO/BBC co-production "House of Saddam", the BBC's "The Amazing Mrs Pritchard", and the Netflix series "The Sandman".
In addition to her television work, Daphne has appeared in a number of films, including Roman Polanski's "The Ghost Writer", Luca Guadagnino's "Beckett", and "The Fourth Kind" opposite Milla Jovovich, released by Universal Pictures. She has also starred in the award-winning short film "The Palace" by Anthony Maras and the award-winning Cypriot feature film "The Siege on Liperti Street" by Stavros Pamballis.
Recently, Daphne has taken on the lead female roles in "Smyrna my Beloved", "Minore", and "The Hunted". She has also completed filming on the TV series "Kabul" and the feature films "Maricel" by Elias Demetriou and "Murphy's Law" by Angelos Frantzis.
On stage, Daphne has performed in "City Stories" at 59E59 in New York City, "Hidden in the Sand" at London's Trafalgar Studios, and "The Marshall Plan" with the Athens and Epidaurus Festival.
In addition to her impressive acting credentials, Daphne is also a talented voice actress, having portrayed the iconic heroine Modesty Blaise for BBC Radio 4. She is fluent in native English and Greek, as well as French, German, Italian, and Levantine Arabic.
