Darin Cooper, a talented individual, was born in the picturesque rural town of Oakley, Kansas, to a plumber and a beautician. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kansas State University, which marked the beginning of his artistic journey. Following his academic accomplishments, Cooper relocated to Los Angeles, where he embarked on a freelance career as an artist for advertising agencies.
However, his experiences in the corporate world failed to ignite his passion, and he soon found himself seeking new challenges. Within three short months, Cooper attended a commercial workshop with a college friend, which proved to be a turning point in his life. He gained an agent and began to focus on his acting career, but unfortunately, he was unable to secure auditions and was forced to reevaluate his priorities.
In a bold move, Cooper left the world of design behind and became a bartender on the iconic Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California, for the majority of the 1990s. This period allowed him to hone his skills and develop a deeper understanding of the entertainment industry. From 1993 to 1997, Cooper dedicated himself to studying under the guidance of the renowned acting coach, Larry Moss.
Throughout his career, Cooper has consistently demonstrated his versatility and dedication to his craft, with his first notable role on the popular television series J.A.G. marking the beginning of his long and illustrious career in the entertainment industry.
