David Murray Pilkey Jr., a celebrated American cartoonist, author, and illustrator of children's literature, made his entry into the world on March 4, 1966. Over the years, he has garnered immense acclaim for his remarkable work on the highly acclaimed children's book series, Captain Underpants, as well as its spin-off children's graphic novel series, Dog Man.
