Dave McCabe, a talented individual born in 1982 in the charming town of Dundalk, Ireland, has always been fascinated by the captivating essence of myths, legends, and fantasy tales. As a young person, he was drawn to the enchanting world of storytelling, which eventually led him to craft his own imaginative stories. Over the years, he discovered various outlets to express his creative endeavors, including storytelling sessions, writing, computer games, drama groups, and ultimately, film.
McCabe honed his skills by producing a series of short films for others, and in early 2009, he made his directorial debut with the acclaimed short film, "The Hollow Girl". As the film toured the global festival circuit in 2009 and 2010, he directed his first feature film, "Shackled". With an insatiable appetite for new stories to share, Dave is currently in development on several projects through his production company, Squid Media.
He continues to seek out fresh narratives to bring to life, showcasing his dedication to the art of storytelling and his passion for the film industry.
