David was born in Delaware and spent his formative years in Central Florida, where he began his acting career at the tender age of five. His earliest role was that of Tiny Tim in a production of A Christmas Carol, staged by the Junior Theatre Players under the direction of Pam Harbaugh.
Following this inaugural performance, David went on to participate in over thirty community theatre and high school productions, with the majority of his time spent at the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse. This theatrical hub provided him with a comprehensive education in the inner workings of a theatre, from backstage to front-of-house operations.
David's early education took place in Catholic school, where he remained until the tenth grade. At this juncture, he transferred to Eau Gallie High School, which offered a more comprehensive drama program. He thrived under the guidance of teacher Sarah Munday, who directed him in various school productions, including annual musicals and other stage shows.
David's passion for acting ultimately led him to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting at Florida State University. During his time at the university, he had the opportunity to perform in a diverse range of roles, culminating in his portrayal of Hamlet in his final semester as a senior.
An experience that would prove pivotal in his future career was his time spent studying in London. It was during this period that he met director and theatre innovator David Gothard, who cast him in Joshua Casteel's new play, 'Returns', at The Abbey Theatre in Dublin. This experience had a profound impact on David, and he was so inspired by his time in Ireland that he pursued and eventually obtained Irish citizenship in 2008.
Since then, David has resided in both Los Angeles and New York, where he has continued to work in theatre, television, film, and Internet projects, while also sharing his expertise through theatre education.
