David Michael Paul, professionally known as David Buehrle, is a native of Arizona, much like the Arizona Spruce, a tree that is deeply rooted in the state's landscape. Born as David Buehrle, his early life was filled with aspirations of becoming a professional baseball player, with a specific goal of playing third base for the Milwaukee Brewers.
However, fate had other plans, and David's life took a dramatic turn when he stepped onto the theater stage for the first time. It was as if the spotlight had illuminated his true calling, and he knew that acting would be his future. This epiphany was not without its foreshadowing, as his teachers and classmates had already begun to affectionately refer to him as "Bueller" due to the unique pronunciation of his last name, "Buehrle" (Burly).
David's early forays into the world of acting began with school productions and talent shows, but it was his first community theatre musical production that convinced him that acting would be his ultimate career choice. He has since gone on to star in a wide range of roles, including Captain Hook in "Peter Pan," for which he won the Best Lead Actor in a Musical award from the National Youth Arts (NYA),and Charlie Gordon in "Flowers for Algernon," earning him the Best Lead Actor in a Play award from the NYA a year later.
David's impressive resume also includes film and television roles such as Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," Spike's "1000 Ways to Die," Hallmark's "The Santa Switch," the Flower Bomber on Nickelodeon's "Victorious," and Schwartz in the sequel to the classic holiday film, "A Christmas Story."
In addition to his acting talents, David is also an inspired writer, having created his own production company focused on original content that showcases character. His slogan, "where originality meets character," reflects his passion for bringing unique and complex characters to life on the screen. David's favorite genre is independent movies, as he believes that this is where an actor can truly shine based on their talent.
David's inspiration for his work comes from his favorite actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, who is known for his versatility and ability to transform into a wide range of characters. David's goal is to emulate DiCaprio's approach to acting, always striving to bring something new and original to each role.
