David Wenzel is a highly accomplished individual, boasting an impressive array of achievements in the realms of martial arts and acting. As a two-time AOKA National full contact Karate Champion, he has earned a reputation for his exceptional skill and dedication to his craft.
Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, David relocated to New York City to pursue a career in acting. Throughout his life, he has been drawn to the world of martial arts, ultimately earning a 4th Degree Black Belt in Issin-Ryu Okinawa Karate. He has also showcased his prowess in the boxing ring, competing professionally.
David's acting credits are equally impressive, with appearances in a wide range of television series, films, and daytime serials. Some of his notable roles include stints on Rescue Me, New Amsterdam, Extreme Forensics, and Lipstick Jungle. His film work includes notable titles such as Old Dogs and Duck Hunt, produced by In Trouble Zone Productions.
In addition to his acting endeavors, David has built a successful career as a stand-in and photo double for the renowned actor Brad Pitt. He has worked alongside Pitt on numerous projects, including the film Sleepers, and has developed close relationships with industry professionals such as Fisher Stevens, Scott Ruden, Jace Alexander, and the acclaimed cinematographer Emmanuel "Chivo" Lubezki.
