Dean A. Sorenson was born in the Midwest region of the United States. He went on to complete his higher education at a prestigious institution in Minnesota, before embarking on a career in law enforcement by attending the Dallas, Texas Police Academy.
Throughout his remarkable career, Dean continued to further his education and skills by pursuing advanced studies in Police Management. He also earned the esteemed certification from the renowned Reid Interview and Interrogation Institute, and was an alumnus of the esteemed Southwest Law Enforcement Institute.
Dean dedicated his career to serving the citizens of Dallas, Texas, where he honorably retired at the rank of Sergeant of Police, a position he held for nearly two decades out of his total 26 years of dedicated service with the Dallas, Texas Police Department.
Prior to his retirement, Dean began pursuing his passion for acting as a part-time profession in 2006. Upon his retirement, he dedicated himself to a full-time acting career.
Dean has since had the opportunity to be featured in a variety of mediums, including print advertisements, music videos, short and feature films, several web series, and a syndicated television series.
He is actively committed to expanding his knowledge and skills in the art of acting, and is mentored by the esteemed Ms. Theresa Bell of "Theresa Bell's Actor's Studio" in Dallas, Texas, who specializes in the teachings of "Archetypal Character Acting" and the "Ivana Chubbuck Technique".
Dean has also had the privilege of training in numerous workshops, seminars, webinars, and classes, further honing his craft and expanding his expertise as an actor.
