Born in Vancouver, Canada, Dean Petriw embarked on his illustrious career in commercials at the tender age of four, showcasing his innate talent for the craft. His exceptional abilities soon led him to take on more substantial roles, and by the time he was seven, he had already written, directed, and starred in a short film for a local youth-film challenge, which remarkably won a trio of awards.
Since then, Dean has made appearances in a variety of TV shows, including ABC's "Once Upon A Time", FOX's "Wayward Pines", Freeform's "Beyond", TNT's "Falling Skies", and a recurring arc in Apple TV+'s "Home Before Dark", to name a few.
As a voice artist, he takes on the lead role of Henry/Boost in the Netflix animated series "Starbeam". Prior to this, he voiced characters for Cartoon Network's "Ninjago" and Teletoon's "Super Dinosaur". He has also appeared in the films "Kindergarten Cop 2", "Midnight Sun", and "Sonic The Hedgehog".
When not on set, Dean can be found engaging in various hobbies, including playing soccer, table tennis, participating in cross-country, and studying every sports strategy and statistic known to man.
