Biography

Deanna Pak, a talented individual born and raised in Oakland, California, to a family of multi-ethnic Asian immigrants, began her journey in the arts as a contemporary dancer and later transitioned into acting in theatre and film.

During her final year at the Skyline Performing Arts Academy, Pak won a prestigious dance medal and was awarded the Outstanding Female Performance of the Year in Theatre, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft.

Pak then went on to major in dance at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy, further demonstrating her diverse range of interests and skills.

Following her time at UC Santa Barbara, Pak studied at the renowned American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) in San Francisco, where she honed her acting skills and worked on various local films, plays, and commercial projects.

Through her modeling and acting endeavors, Pak was selected from a pool of thousands of girls to compete in the Miss California USA Pageant, representing North Bay and impressively placing in the top 20%. This experience not only provided her with a platform to build strong relationships but also opened up opportunities to serve her community, including working with organizations such as W.O.M.A.N., Inc. (Women Organized to Make Abuse Nonexistent) and Lifting Up Lives Organization.

After the pageant, Pak made the move to Los Angeles, where she landed her first starring role in the feature film "Prom Ride". Since then, she has appeared in numerous movies and television shows, including Fox's "The Resident" and Paramount Plus's "Fatal Attraction".

In addition to her acting career, Pak has also ventured into writing, penning her first TV pilot, "Hot Asian Girl", and creating several other meaningful and fun projects over the years.

Following the biggest Hollywood strike in history, Pak founded her own production company, Pak Pictures, and created and starred in the psychological sci-fi/drama short film "Kinnected", which tackles important mental health issues.
