Deb Hiett has had a prolific career in television, appearing in numerous shows such as "The Good Place," "Barry," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Veep," "Documentary Now!," "Baskets," "Arrested Development," "Parks and Recreation," "The Office," and many others.
In addition to her television work, Deb has appeared in several films, including "Bombshell," "Booksmart," "Unicorn Store," and "Other People." She has also performed in various regional and LA theater productions, such as "Little Shop of Horrors," "All My Sons," "The Pajama Game," "All in the Timing," "Sweet Charity," "Power in the Blood," and "Holiday."
Deb has also ventured into writing and producing, co-writing and co-starring in the short film "Gratitude Jar Time Capsule," which won "Best Comedy Television Pilot" at the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival in 2020. Her other short films, "Open House" and "A Bit of Counseling," have also received critical acclaim, winning awards at various film festivals.
Deb has also performed in her original one-woman show, "Tattoo Expo and Accordion Show," and her sketch comedy show, "Deb and Rick on a Stick," which ran for four weeks at the Second City theater in LA.
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Deb is a frequent panelist on the NPR comedy/quiz podcast "Says You." She graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Writing and Philosophy and has written plays, monologues, and screenplays. Her humor book, "When Mommy Loves Bama and Daddy Loves Auburn," is available on Amazon.
