DG is renowned for her exceptional, award-winning vision, fueled by her extensive production experience. In 2021, she is currently working on the post-production of "Montana Amazon Redux", a film starring the talented Olympia Dukakis and Alison Brie.
In 2020, DG successfully directed the pilot for Big Picture Digital's comedy web series, "Perfect Women", featuring Ashley Clements, who is known for her work on the Emmy-award winning "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries". The pilot has been invited to the prestigious Seattle and Moscow Comedy (GELOS) Film festivals.
As a woman director, DG was selected as a Guest Director at the 2017 Los Angeles Beyond Fest, where she won the Best Feature Director award for her work on "Misadventures of the Dunderheads". The South Arts Foundation subsequently chose her as one of the Best Narrative Directors for a six-city screening and speaking tour with the film. "Misadventures" was later acquired by Starz Entertainment, HuluPlus, the Sinclair Broadcast Group, and Artist View International.
DG's career began with directing children's episodic TV for the Fox Network and young adult features, including the 2006 Lions Gate release "Rock 'N' Roll High School Forever", which was produced by the legendary Roger Corman.
Before transitioning to directing, DG worked as a "Film Doctor" Production Consultant on over twenty theatrical and TV features for various studios, including Phoenix Pictures, Lions Gate, Warner Bros., the Syfy Channel, and Film Finances Inc. Her role involved solving the problems of troubled features, ensuring they could be successfully distributed and premiered at festivals such as Cannes, Toronto, and Sundance. Notably, she never lost a patient.
