Deborah Kara Unger, a talented Canadian actress, made history by becoming the first Canadian to be accepted into the esteemed Australian National Institute of Dramatic Art, a prestigious institution that has launched the careers of many renowned actors.
Early in her career, she made her feature film debut in the 1990 movie "Blood Oath", followed by notable roles in Christopher Crowe's psychological thriller "Whispers in the Dark" (1992),the romantic comedy "Till There Was You" (1991),and the sci-fi action film "Highlander: The Final Dimension" (1994).
Prior to her film work, Unger gained recognition for her performance in the award-winning television drama "Bangkok Hilton" (1989),alongside the talented Nicole Kidman and Denholm Elliott. She also appeared in the critically acclaimed HBO production "Hotel Room" (1993),directed by James Signorelli, and the ensemble medical drama "State of Emergency" (1994) on Showtime.
