Deborah Lynn Tucker, a talented individual, was born in Evanston, Illinois, and spent her formative years in the Chicago area. Prior to pursuing a career in the performing arts, she excelled as a figure skater, earning the bronze medal at the 1985 World University Games Ladies' competition. She then went on to graduate from Boston University with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and Film.
Seeking to apply her passion for performing to stage and screen, Deborah enrolled in the Actor's Institute in London and Oxford School of Drama. She subsequently performed at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival, before making the transition to Hollywood. Within six months of arriving in Tinseltown, she secured a series regular role on the sitcom "Living Dolls," followed by a recurring role on the popular drama "Dallas."
Over the years, Deborah has had the opportunity to work in a variety of genres, including comedy and drama, and has appeared in numerous Teen and early 20's roles. However, after a few years of working in these genres, she decided it was time to focus on her personal life. In 1996, she married Ron Markezich and the couple relocated to Seattle, where they started a family.
In less than three and a half years, Deborah gave birth to four children, including twins. As her children grew older and began attending school, the "acting bug" bit again, and Deborah returned to work. She landed a leading role in a corporate film series, which she worked on from 2008 to 2013, as well as appearing in several short films in the area.
Today, Deborah continues to work in the film industry, traveling between the Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles, Vancouver, British Columbia, Texas, and the Southeastern United States. As her oldest child prepares to attend college on the other side of the country, Deborah hopes to combine her work with visits to her daughter, exploring new opportunities in the Southeastern U.S. market.
