Born on February 6, 1976, in Ptuj, Yugoslavia, a city that would later become part of Slovenia, this individual's artistic inclinations began to take shape during his childhood. As he progressed through college, he studied a range of subjects, including history, theology, Slovenian, and Slovenian literature. However, his first exposure to a film workshop proved to be a turning point, prompting him to abandon his academic pursuits and focus on developing his filmmaking skills.
His early career was marked by a concentration on producing and directing music videos, a venture that would yield over 300 productions for a diverse array of artists from Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Germany, and Italy. His portfolio boasts collaborations with notable acts such as Tinkara Kovac, Trkaj, Die Keiser, Maria Masle, Leeloojamais, Make Up 2, Anika Horvat, Anze Palka, Polona Furlan, Drumartica, and many others.
In addition to his work in music videos, he also honed his skills as an assistant director and editor for several documentaries and promotional videos. Furthermore, he established himself as a writer for radio and television, before ultimately transitioning to producing and directing his own projects.
His directorial debut was marked by the feature film Exit, followed by Ksana, which is currently in post-production. As of 2015, he was working on pre-production for his third feature film, When River Has 28°.
