Biography

Denise M. Huth is a highly accomplished television and film producer, currently serving as Executive Producer on the widely popular AMC series "The Walking Dead". Her journey in the industry began in 1999 when she joined Darkwoods Productions, where she worked on the post-production, marketing, and release of Warner Bros. Pictures' critically acclaimed film "The Green Mile". This marked the start of a long-standing association with the company, during which she also contributed to the development and production of various projects, including the NBC television pilot "Raines" and the special-edition DVD releases of "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Green Mile".

In 2004, Huth was promoted to Vice President of Production at Darkwoods, a role she held until 2011. As VP, she oversaw the company's entire development slate, including the co-production of Frank Darabont's feature film "The Mist", which was released by Dimension Films in 2007. The film, based on Stephen King's novella, starred Thomas Jane and Marcia Gay Harden.

Prior to her tenure at Darkwoods, Huth worked at Scott Free Productions, the film and television company founded by Ridley and Tony Scott. During her time at Scott Free, she was involved in the production of several notable films, including "White Squall", "G.I. Jane", and "Clay Pigeons". She also transitioned into a production accounting role on the film "Where The Money Is".

Huth hails from Denver, Colorado, and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
