Born with a passion for the performing arts, this individual initially pursued drama studies at the British Drama League, located in Richmond, Surrey, with no aspirations of turning professional. Simultaneously, he nurtured his enthusiasm for racing motorcycles and cars, eventually rising to the directorship of the renowned Chequered Flag of Chiswick, a prestigious establishment specializing in the sale of sports and sports-racing vehicles.
As a sideline, he honed his acting skills in the evenings and on weekends, with a significant influence being the guidance and direction he received from Paul Gillard. In 1967, he made the bold decision to emigrate to Canada, where he gained valuable insights into the techniques of acting on camera by offering his services to cinema students at Concordia University.
His early Canadian endeavors were marked by appearances in a series of films, including a notable stage performance as Sowerberry in the classic production of "Oliver." This breakthrough led to an offer from a prominent talent agent, paving the way for a successful career in the entertainment industry. Today, he remains a loyal member and ardent supporter of the Association of Canadian Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA).
