Denyce Lawton, a talented and multi-ethnic actress, has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in the New Jersey communities of Belmar and Neptune, she later moved to Washington, D.C. and graduated at the top of her class from Prince Georges County, Maryland.
During her high school years, Denyce was an exceptional student, participating in various academic programs and clubs, including the Biotechnology Program for gifted students, the Future Teachers of America Club, the yearbook staff, and the drama club. She was also Vice President of her senior class.
After graduation, Denyce studied pre-med at the University of Maryland while attending an early studies program at prestigious Johns Hopkins University. She began her professional entertainment career as a background dancer on the Broadway stage and later for renowned recording artists such as Ye, *NSYNC, Mya, Nelly, Jagged Edge, Ja Rule, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, and many others.
Denyce also worked in the music industry as Assistant Vice President of Urban Promotions at Warner Brother Records, A&R VP at Priority Records in New York City, personal assistant to record executive Irv Gotti at Murder Inc. Records, and Assistant Junior Publicist at 20th Century Fox Pictures.
In addition to her work in the music industry, Denyce has pursued a successful modeling career, working with various brands such as Kemi Oil, FUBU, ADIDAS, Enyce, Karl Kani, and Baby Phat. She has also gained acting experience with roles in New York City's famous "Shakespeare in the Park" series and appeared in music videos for artists such as Clay Aiken, 112, Nas, and Jaheim.
