Deven Bhojani is a multifaceted Indian personality who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. He is an accomplished actor, director, and producer, with an extensive repertoire of work in Indian television and films.
Born and raised in Mumbai, Bhojani completed his schooling at Gokalibai Punamchand Pitambar high school in Vile Parle. He then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (SVKM's NMIMS) in Mumbai. To further hone his skills, Bhojani attended the prestigious University of Southern California (USC) for filmmaking studies.
Bhojani's acting career in television began with an episode of the popular series Malgudi Days in 1986. He went on to appear in numerous television shows, including Dekh Bhai Dekh, Tara, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, Office Office, Khichdi, Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, and many others. His recent television credits include Bhakharwadi, Wagle Ki Duniya, and Taaza Khabar.
As a producer, Bhojani has worked on the television series Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother in 2012. He has also been involved in various film projects, such as Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Andaz, Kranti Kshetra, Sarhad: The Border of Crime, Kartavya, Uff! Yeh Mohabbat, Chalo America, Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke, Khichdi: The Movie, Chala Mussaddi - Office Office, and Agneepath.
Bhojani's directorial debut, Commando 2: The Black Money Trail, was a commercial success and received critical acclaim. He has also been recognized for his work on Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai, winning the ITA Award for Best Director - Comedy and the Indian Telly Award for Best Director (Comedy).
In addition to his work in Hindi television and films, Bhojani has also been involved in Gujarati shows, including the lead role in Yamraj Calling in 2021. He is currently starring in Taaza Khabar, alongside Indian YouTuber and comedian Bhuvan Bam.
Bhojani is married to Jagruti Bhojani.
