DG is renowned for her dynamic, award-winning vision, which is fueled by her extensive production experience. In 2021, she is currently working on the post-production of "Montana Amazon Redux," a film starring Olympia Dukakis and Alison Brie.
In 2020, she directed the pilot episode of Big Picture Digital's comedy web series, "Perfect Women," which features Ashley Clements, the star of the Emmy-awarded "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries." The pilot has since been invited to the Seattle and Moscow Comedy (GELOS) Film festivals.
DG was selected as a Guest Director at the 2017 Los Angeles Beyond Fest, where she was recognized for her work as a woman director. She also won the Best Feature Director award at the Los Angeles International Femme Festival for her film "Misadventures of the Dunderheads." The South Arts Foundation subsequently chose her as one of the Best Narrative Directors for a six-city screening/speaking tour with the film.
"Misadventures" was later picked up by Starz Entertainment, HuluPlus, the Sinclair Broadcast Group, and Artist View International. DG's career in directing began with children's episodic TV for the Fox Network, as well as young adult features, including the 2006 Lions Gate release "Rock 'N' Roll High School Forever," which was produced by the legendary Roger Corman.
Prior to her work as a director, DG was a highly sought-after "Film Doctor" Production Consultant on over twenty theatrical and TV features for various production companies, including Phoenix Pictures, Lions Gate, Warner Bros., the Syfy Channel, and Film Finances Inc. Her role involved solving the problems of troubled features so they could be successfully distributed and premiered at prominent film festivals, such as the Cannes, Toronto, and Sundance Festivals. Notably, she never lost a patient during her time as a "Film Doctor."
