Diane Adair, a New England native, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communications from Chapman University in Orange, California, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Following her graduation, she was accepted as a company member of South Coast Repertory Theatre. Her stage credits include appearing alongside June Lockhart in The William, co-starring with John Glover in The Traveler at The Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, and performing Off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop in Top Secret: Battle for the Pentagon Papers with Peter Strauss. A national tour of Top Secret followed, starring John Heard, Susan Sullivan, and Gregory Harrison. Diane also had the opportunity to tour as The Narrator in The Great Tennessee Monkey Trial with Edward Asner.
In addition to her stage work, Diane has appeared in several films, including the critically acclaimed UFOria (1984) with Harry Dean Stanton, and the award-winning Instant Trauma (2002). Her television credits include being the only woman to reject the Fonz on Happy Days (1974),and a recurring alien on Babylon 5 (1994-1995). Diane's voice has been featured in national commercials, promos, and as a drive-time co-host, as well as in the Emmy Award-winning mini-series The Wild West (1993) alongside Jack Lemmon and Helen Hunt.
Diane has also been recognized for her writing, being named a quarterfinalist in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. Most recently, she completed filming Mississippi Requiem, a production starring and produced by James Franco.
