Dmitri's journey in the world of acting began at the tender age of four, with his early performances primarily confined to commercials. However, his big-screen debut came at the age of seven, when he starred alongside Will Ferrell, Adam Scott, and John C. Reilly in the feature film "Step Brothers". Although his role was a small one, it was a particularly touching scene that showcased his acting abilities.
As he grew older, Dmitri continued to hone his craft, taking on lead roles in various short films that went on to be selected for film festivals. One such film, "A Border Story", was an official selection at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. In another short film, "Salvation Road", Dmitri played the role of a young boy who was brutally beaten by his father, who had a chance encounter with an assassin with a conscience. This powerful performance demonstrated his range as an actor and his ability to portray complex emotions.
Dmitri's feature film credits also include "Jessica's Journey" and the TV movie "Christmas Twister", in which he starred alongside Haley Lu Richardson. He has also appeared in a number of TV shows, including "Suburgatory", "Eagleheart", "Parks and Recreation", "NCIS", and "Game Shakers", among others. His recurring role in Nickelodeon's "Wendell and Vinnie" further showcased his versatility as an actor.
In addition to his acting pursuits, Dmitri has also expressed a desire to work behind the camera. At the age of 12, he wrote, directed, and co-starred in his first short film, "The Hunt for Shadowman", which was an ambitious action film made on a shoestring budget. This project allowed him to learn valuable lessons about camera angles, choreography, working with kids and animals, lighting, and the importance of keeping to a schedule. Dmitri also contributed to the editing process and discovered the significant impact that post-production sound can have on the mood of a project. "The Hunt for Shadowman" was accepted into the Roswell International Film Festival, a testament to Dmitri's hard work and dedication.
Dmitri attended Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, and is now balancing his acting career with his college film studies. He continues to pursue his passion for acting and filmmaking, always looking for new opportunities to grow and challenge himself as an artist.
