Don Carmody has spent nearly four decades producing films and television programs. His extensive filmography boasts over 100 projects, including the successful Porky's and Porky's II, the beloved A Christmas Story, the Weekend At Bernie's series, The Late Shift, and the Academy Award-winning Chicago.
In recent years, Carmody has produced several blockbuster films, including Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, and Pompeii. He has also established Don Carmody Television (DCTV),a division of Don Carmody Productions (DCP),which has produced a range of successful television series and event mini-series.
Throughout his career, Carmody has received numerous awards and accolades, including the Canadian Academy of Cinema and Television's Golden Screen Award, which he has won an unprecedented nine times. He is a member of several prestigious industry organizations, including the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the Canadian Media Producers Association.
Carmody's current projects include the Rogers-Netflix original series Between, the Emmy-nominated event mini-series The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe, ShadowHunters, and Tokyo Trials.
