Donald Smith's acting career began at the age of 25, initially as a hobby, with a series of notable roles in local theatre productions, including those with the Dayton Theatre Guild, Brookville Community Theatre, and Troy Civic Theatre.
His early start in acting was marked by a series of notable roles in local theatre productions, where he honed his craft and gained valuable experience.
Several years later, he transitioned to film work, although unfortunately, many of the projects he was slated to appear in ultimately failed to materialize.
Following a hiatus from acting to complete his English degree at Wright State University, Smith is gradually returning to the world of acting, with a slate of fresh film and writing projects in the works.
During his hiatus, he took the opportunity to focus on his education and complete his degree, which has undoubtedly contributed to his growth as a person and an artist.
Additionally, he has been honing his stand-up comedy skills, performing at various venues throughout the Dayton area, including The Dayton Funnybone and Wiley's Comedy Joint.
As he continues to develop his comedic talents, he is becoming a force to be reckoned with in the Dayton comedy scene.
Furthermore, Smith also hosts a weekly radio show, aptly titled The Life, on WWSU 106.9FM, a Fairborn, OH-based station.
Through his radio show, he is able to share his thoughts, opinions, and perspectives with a wider audience, and has established himself as a talented and engaging radio host.
