Donna Persico is the proud granddaughter of Larry O'Reilly, a renowned cinematographer and director, who gained widespread recognition for his thought-provoking documentary short series, "This is America".
As a talented actress, Donna began her career in Northern California, where she honed her skills on stage and appeared in numerous commercials. Her impressive portfolio soon led her to relocate to Los Angeles in 1991, where she enrolled at the prestigious Playhouse West to further her education.
During her time at Playhouse West, Donna continued to showcase her versatility by performing on stage, as well as in film and television. One of her most notable roles was her three-season stint as a trauma nurse on NBC's hit drama, ER.
Throughout her career, Donna has been fortunate enough to work with a variety of prominent brands, featuring in national commercials for esteemed companies such as Chase Bank, Under Armour, Proctor and Gamble, Walmart, Dr. Pepper, Chef Boyardee, Stop Smoking Campaign, Aids Awareness, and many more.
In 2005, Donna took her talents to the next level by producing, writing, and directing her first feature film, Only For You. With a strong commitment to creating empowering roles for women, she has since focused her efforts on writing, producing, and directing.
In addition to Only For You, Donna has written two more screenplays, Pump and 70% Gray, showcasing her impressive range and dedication to her craft.
