Doua Moua was born in Thailand to his parents, CherTong Moua and Pang Chang, and soon after, his family immigrated to the United States when he was just six months old.
He grew up in a large family in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with one brother and three sisters, and began his journey in the performing arts by singing in his school's choir and participating in various community and school plays.
Moua's talent also led him to join the award-winning Show Choir and Concert Choir at the International School of MN, showcasing his exceptional skills.
As the son of a Moua clan leader, Doua felt immense pressure to live up to his father's and his people's expectations, making it a significant challenge for him to pursue his dream of becoming an actor and performer.
Despite these obstacles, Doua persevered and graduated from The International School of Minnesota in Eden Prairie in June 2005, alongside his three cousins, Ka Moua, Yia Moua, and Ker Moua.
Currently, Doua resides in New York City, where he is studying at Marymount Manhattan College and actively participating in off-Broadway and off-off Broadway plays, taking his passion for the performing arts to new heights.
