Dreah Marie is a multi-talented American actress born in Houston, Texas, boasting a rich heritage that stems from a blend of European, Native American, and Asian roots. Her paternal and maternal ancestry proudly boasts French, Italian, Scottish, Irish, Cherokee, Iroquois, and Asian influences.
Prior to embarking on her acting career, Dreah initially explored her creative side through modeling and commercial work while attending college. However, she took a brief hiatus to pursue a safe and secure career as a medical doctor, completing her medical education before ultimately returning to her first love, acting.
Dreah's big break came when she landed the lead role of Marla Ramirez in the feature film "Veda," playing a quadriplegic character. Her outstanding performance earned her a nomination for Best Lead Role in a Feature Film at various film festivals, with "Veda" going on to win the People's Choice Award at the Trail Dance Festival in 2016.
Following her success in "Veda," Dreah pursued her goal of working in television, securing her first television role in 2016 as Britney Weaver in the award-winning OWN series "Greenleaf." This role led to additional recurring roles in Showtime's "Homeland," as well as appearances in "S.W.A.T.," "The Have and The Have Nots," "24 Legacy," and more.
In addition to her on-camera work, Dreah is also taking on behind-the-camera opportunities, which will allow her to make a creative impact in the faith-based entertainment space.
