Drew, a talented individual, entered the world in 1961 in the bustling metropolis of Vancouver, Canada. His passion for acting was evident from a young age, as he began to develop his skills through appearances in home movies and community theatre productions. As he grew older, Drew decided to formalize his training by enrolling in the esteemed Studio 58, a prestigious institution renowned for its acting programs. Following his time at Studio 58, he continued to refine his craft by participating in the Arts Club Masterclass, a highly respected program that fosters the development of talented actors. During his educational journey, Drew had the privilege of studying under the guidance of several acclaimed Vancouver acting teachers, including William B. Davis, Marc Baur, Donald Adams, Matthew Harrison, Fiona Hogan, and Andrew McIlroy. Furthermore, he received expert online coaching from the accomplished Kirsten Clarkson, also known as "KC," through her esteemed Screen Acting School, further enhancing his acting abilities.
Drew's professional journey has been a diverse and exciting one, with a plethora of projects under his belt. He has had the privilege of appearing in numerous short films, television productions, and documentary dramas, showcasing his remarkable acting skills as both a leading and background performer. His extensive stage credits are equally impressive, featuring memorable roles such as Sydney in the critically acclaimed Deathtrap, Judge/Preacher in the thought-provoking Rimers of Eldritch, and Paul in the gripping Farragut North. Furthermore, in the early 1980s, Drew had the esteemed opportunity to take on the iconic role of Rocky in the beloved musical, The Rocky Horror Show, at both the esteemed Arts Club Mainstage and the iconic Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver.
Drew currently calls Toronto, Ontario, Canada, his home, sharing a warm and loving environment with his devoted wife and their precious young son.
