Dustin's illustrious career began at the tender age of 8 in Nashville, Tennessee, where he started out as a stand-in on the film "Ernest Scared Stupid", a pivotal moment that ignited his passion for directing and prompted him to relocate to Los Angeles. As he continued to hone his acting skills, he landed a starring role in the UPN series "Them", sharing the screen with notable actors such as Scott Patterson.
After completing his secondary education at John Burroughs High School in Burbank, California, Dustin furthered his education by attending the UCLA extension program, where he made a notable impression by winning the "Best Short Film" award in 1998. He went on to direct an impressive array of projects, including five short films, one feature-length film, a musical showcase, and even surgical procedures.
Dustin's dedication to his craft led him to graduate with honors from the prestigious Los Angeles Film School, a testament to his exceptional skills and work ethic. His talents were soon recognized by the film industry, as he was hired to write and direct a promotional trailer for The Temecula Valley International Film Festival in 2003, showcasing his expertise in the action genre.
