Dylan Cruz's early life was shaped by his childhood in the south suburbs of Chicago, where he began his acting journey at the tender age of five, performing in church plays and musicals, racking up numerous theater credits.
Before diving headfirst into the entertainment industry, Dylan took the time to research and learn as much as he could, making it a daily goal to read something new and develop a strategic plan with the support of his parents.
As he continued to hone his craft, Dylan enrolled in acting schools, where he sought out proper training and growth. Shortly after, he secured representation from a talent agent, marking the beginning of his journey towards achieving his dreams.
With an unwavering passion for acting, Dylan has worked tirelessly, booking roles in industrials, commercials, music videos, short films, print work, and even landing a lead role in a staged production. Although he remains actively auditioning and working on various projects, he is confident that the right role for a TV series is just around the corner, and he can't wait to start working on more sets.
Beyond his acting pursuits, Dylan is a talented photographer who enjoys capturing the world through his lens, and when he's not acting or auditioning, you can find him traveling, sipping coffee, leading worship or doing covers with friends, creating YouTube videos with his brother Matthew, or writing teen fiction in the hopes of becoming an author one day.
One of Dylan's primary goals is to be a positive influence on his generation, inspiring and encouraging others to work hard and pursue their dreams, while also spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
As the second-to-youngest of five siblings, Dylan currently resides in Chicago, Illinois, with his family, but loves to travel, particularly to California.
