Edithe Swensen, a renowned writer, embarked on her journey in Brooklyn, New York City, where she spent her formative years. Her academic pursuits led her to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in English from Wheaton College in Illinois, followed by a Master's in English from Penn State University.
After completing her education, Edithe and her husband Stephen embarked on a unique adventure, starting their married life together in the exotic city of Tangier, Morocco. However, their travels eventually took them back to America, where they settled down.
Swensen's writing career began in the mid-1980s, and she quickly made a name for herself in the television industry. Her impressive portfolio includes a range of TV movies and episodes for various TV shows. Outside of her writing endeavors, Edithe has also honed her skills as a trained yoga instructor. She now leads classes at the Wilton branch of the Saratoga Regional YMCA in Saratoga, New York.
Edithe's personal life is also filled with accomplishments. Her son, Matthew, is an English teacher at St. Thomas the Apostle in Delmar, New York, while her daughter, Katie, has pursued a career in microbiology in Atlanta, Georgia.
