Edward Douglas, the visionary founder of Midnight Syndicate, is a renowned composer and producer who has been instrumental in shaping the symphonic gothic horror music genre for over two decades. As the mastermind behind Midnight Syndicate, Edward has crafted a distinctive sound that is inextricably linked with the Halloween season, with his dark instrumental music being expertly woven into the fabric of haunted attractions, amusement parks, retail outlets, and homes around the world.
Midnight Syndicate's music has also found a natural home in the role-playing game industry, where it provides an eerie backdrop for gaming sessions. Edward's impressive body of work includes composing music for and producing a staggering seventeen Midnight Syndicate albums, as well as three film soundtracks.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Edward has also ventured into the world of film direction and screenwriting. In 2009, he brought his horror expertise to the big screen with the critically acclaimed film, "The Dead Matter." Since 2014, Edward has been busy directing and producing a series of multimedia shows, Midnight Syndicate Live!, at the esteemed USA-based amusement park, Cedar Point.
