Edwin Goh's inception into the entertainment industry was marked by a serendipitous encounter with a local producer, who ultimately led him to secure a role in Channel 5's drama "Fighting Spiders" in the year 2009. In this inaugural venture, he brought to life the character of a thrill-seeking teenager, showcasing his burgeoning acting chops. His proficiency in two languages and subsequent success in the series paved the way for his debut on the silver screen in the 2010 local Chinese movie "Love Cuts", where he played the role of a quiet and withdrawn youth, further demonstrating his versatility as a young actor.

Edwin's youthful appearance and exceptional acting abilities swiftly led to his casting as one of the principal characters in Channel 8's highly acclaimed 2011 drama "On the Fringe", where he took on the complex and challenging role of an estranged and rebellious teenager, thereby propelling him to sudden and widespread fame.
