Estonian-born Eha's mother, Milja, was a costume designer at the country's only movie studio, where young Eha began her career as a background child actor in numerous Estonian films, playing various roles such as a girl riding a bicycle or walking into a store to buy candy and licking a lollipop. As a teenager, she was part of a theater group, performing in various events.
Her career took off when she was selected to appear in a chewing gum commercial at the age of 14, and at 16, she was a runner-up in the Miss Estonia pageant. She then competed for the supermodel title of the former Soviet Union and won. Discovered by Ford Modeling Agency, she was entered in the Supermodel of the World pageant, where she was selected as one of the finalists.
At the age of 21, Eha decided to leave the modeling world and pursue her true passion for acting, moving to Hollywood to become a movie actress. She landed a few small television roles and appeared in films such as Cannes Man (1996) and Camera (2000),but was frustrated by the lack of success. She then moved to Ohio, where she met a boyfriend and began focusing on songwriting and recording.
Eha's music career took off when three of her songs were chosen for the compilation album "From the Hamptons to Ibiza" in August 2002. She moved to New York, continued her music studies at Hunter College, and took acting, speech, and diction classes. She was soon chosen as Marilyn Monroe in an Oxygen Channel commercial and appeared as one of the Stepford wives in the film Stepford Wives (2004) alongside Nicole Kidman and Matthew Broderick.
In July 2004, her single "Touch Me" was picked up by the Rhythmic Radio compilation, and in August, she performed at the Karin Models Next Generation Awards in Quito, Ecuador, which was televised by Fashion TV and Univision worldwide. In October, another song from her album, I'm On My Way, was chosen by Italy's biggest Radio 105 network for a compilation Top Radio 6, which soon reached gold album status.
Eha started 2005 by performing as a finalist in Estonia for the Eurovision song contest. Her new single, Gotta Go, reached #1 in radio in Estonia and Italy, and by May, she reached #1 on the top 40 chart of Electric Eye Radio in New York. By April 2006, she rose to #48 on the Hot 100 chart in South Korea.
In the spring of 2006, Eha's song "Touch Me" won second place in the Billboard Worldwide Song Contest, Dance Category. She then returned to acting, appearing in a dark comedy, The Doctor Is In, and a Russian major feature, Spy Games 2, which was set to be released in the fall.
