Eitan Gorlin, a multifaceted creative force, made a significant impact in the film industry with his narrative feature "The Holy Land", a Jerusalem-set story that premiered in over fifty cities across the United States, with an eleven-week run at the prestigious Angelica Film Center.
For his directorial debut, Gorlin received the Grand Jury Prize at the Slamdance Film Festival and was nominated for an IFP Spirit Award, a testament to his exceptional storytelling abilities.
In addition to his work in film, Gorlin co-created and portrayed the character of Martin Eisenstadt, a hapless McCain adviser who gained widespread media attention during the 2008 presidential campaign. Alongside his partner Dan Mirvish, Gorlin penned a satirical novel, "I Am Martin Eisenstadt: One Man's (Wildly Inappropriate) Adventures with the Last Republicans", which was published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux and listed as one of the year's top three books by Washington Monthly.
Furthermore, Gorlin wrote the script for "Burbank Caviar", which was directed by Cuba Gooding Jr. under the title "Bayou Caviar". Gorlin served as a producer and co-writer on the film, which starred Cuba Gooding Jr., Famke Jannsen, and Richard Dreyfuss.
Gorlin's creative endeavors extend beyond the screen, as he has also written about Jerusalem chefs, religious and political extremism, and the Mafia's involvement in the American black music industry.
