Bryn Pryor's cinematic journey began at the tender age of nine, when he created a stop-motion epic featuring Micronauts battling alien villains within the iconic Kenner's Mos Eisley Cantina playset, set against the backdrop of Apache Junction, Arizona, a perilous environment for toys in 1979.
Over the ensuing decades, Pryor's directing endeavors have spanned a wide range of genres and formats, including four films for Roger Corman's Concorde/New Horizons Studios, which unfortunately resulted in forgettable moments alongside notable stars such as Eric Roberts and Martin Sheen.
However, Pryor's dramatic feature, Poker, earned critical acclaim, winning Best Drama at the 2000 IFP East film festival and Best Original Screenplay at the 2001 Angel City Film Festival.
More recently, Pryor has been involved in various projects, including the horror indie #iKllr, set for theatrical release in 2015, as well as the steampunk western Cowboys & Engines, starring Richard Hatch, Walter Koenig, and Malcolm McDowell, and the documentary X-Rated, which delved into the greatest movies of the adult industry and aired on Showtime.
Pryor is currently working on expanding Cowboys & Engines into a full-length feature film, concluding the follow-up to X-Rated, and writing and directing Diminuendo, a science fiction romance scheduled to begin production in early 2016.
