Elizabeth Clare is a multifaceted individual based in Chicago, Illinois, with a rich background in music and a passion for the performing arts. Growing up in Milwaukee, she developed a deep appreciation for jazz music from a young age, which would later become a significant influence on her artistic pursuits.
Her academic journey took her to Iowa and ultimately to Nova Scotia, where she earned multiple degrees in Jazz Voice and Composition. During this time, she also discovered the importance of mindfulness and discipline, which has had a profound impact on her approach to her craft.
Elizabeth's experiences in Halifax, Nova Scotia, allowed her to grow as an artist and appreciate the slower pace of life. She eventually relocated to Chicago, where she honed her skills as an actor at the renowned Second City comedy troupe. This training sparked her improvisational skills, leading her to pursue opportunities in Los Angeles as an on-camera talent.
After seven years in Hollywood, Elizabeth returned to the Midwest to raise her daughter near family. Despite her varied career path, her strong musical background continues to inform her approach to acting, as she seeks to find the magic that arises from the intersection of structure and creativity.
In addition to her work as an actor, Elizabeth is also a dedicated volunteer for NoStigmas, a mental health non-profit organization. She is a proud member of the SAG-AFTRA union and is also a faculty member at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, where she teaches contemporary music voice.
When she's not performing or teaching, Elizabeth enjoys baking and holds a 1st Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
