Mary Elizabeth Allison, better known as Miss Elizabeth, was born in Frankfort, Kentucky in 1960. Growing up in Kentucky, she developed a love for nature, often taking leisurely walks through the meadows and enjoying horseback riding during her childhood.
Elizabeth's academic pursuits led her to earn a degree in communications from the University of Kentucky. Her academic achievements paved the way for her to enter the world of professional wrestling, where she would go on to make a lasting impact.
In 1985, Elizabeth rose to national prominence when she was introduced as the manager of WWF wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage, whom she had married a year earlier. The two quickly became a formidable team, with Elizabeth guiding Savage to the WWF's Intercontinental title in 1986 and later the WWF World Title in 1988.
Elizabeth's popularity extended beyond her work in the ring, as merchandise and magazines bearing her image became big sellers. She was also a key player in several storylines, including feuds with George "The Animal" Steele, Wayne Farris, Jake Roberts, Ric Flair, and Hulk Hogan.
Elizabeth's marriage to Randy Savage was a significant aspect of her career, but it was also a work, designed to further the storyline of the WWF. The two divorced in 1992, shortly before Elizabeth left the WWF.
In 1996, Elizabeth returned to wrestling in World Championship Wrestling (WCW),where she served as manager for Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger, with whom she eventually formed a romantic relationship. She also worked with her ex-husband Randy Savage on occasion.
Elizabeth left the WCW in 1999 and went on to pursue other ventures, including owning a clothing store in the Miami, Florida area. She passed away on May 1, 2003, leaving behind a legacy as the First Lady of Wrestling.
