Elizabeth Stuart-Morris is a multifaceted individual with a strong background in theatre and production. Born in Lahr, Germany to Canadian parents who were teachers, Elizabeth moved to Canada at the age of two and began taking dance lessons until she was eighteen. She also started piano lessons at the age of seven and continued them until she was sixteen.
Elizabeth's education was marked by a strong focus on the arts. She completed the TDSB Extended French program from middle school to high school, where her father was the principal. She graduated with an Entertainment Technology Specialist Certificate from Cedarbrae Collegiate Institute, which recognized her leadership and dedication to the school's dramatic and media arts.
Elizabeth's passion for the arts led her to participate in numerous theatre productions, festivals, and programs throughout her youth. She worked with companies such as Convergence Theatre and Outside the March, and performed, choreographed, directed, stage-managed, and produced various productions.
Elizabeth's academic pursuits included a Specialist Bachelor's Degree in Theatre & Drama Studies from the University of Toronto, where she also minored in English and Political Science. She earned a Diploma in Acting from Sheridan College and trained in various techniques, including Laban, Viewpoints, Suzuki, Grotowski, Performance Art, and Stage Combat.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Elizabeth holds a Certificate in Media Business Essentials from Humber College and Women In Film and Television-Toronto.
Today, Elizabeth is the founder of esmcreative, a digital media and film production company that she independently finances. She is also the Director of Film Production, Financing, and Distribution at Orion One Management.
