Eleanor Elizabeth Bamber, a talented British actress, was born in the South of England, UK, and has a younger brother named Lucas. She began her acting career on stage at a young age, becoming the youngest ever member of The London Players Theatre.
Her early success on stage led to her being cast in the role of Young Jenny in Sir Trevor Nunn's production of "Aspects of Love" at The Menier Chocolate Factory, London. She then transitioned to television and film, where she quickly landed roles in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) alongside Lily James and Matt Smith, and Dinah Lord in High Society, directed by Maria Friedman.
Her performance in High Society earned her a nomination for an Evening Standard Best Newcomer Award. She then appeared in the dramatic thriller Nocturnal Animals (2016) as India Hastings, playing the daughter of Jake Gyllenhaal and Isla Fisher.
In 2015, Bamber was named one of BFI and Screen Daily's Screen Stars of Tomorrow. Her subsequent film roles include Extra Curricular Activities, High Resolution, and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, in which she starred alongside Keira Knightley and Morgan Freeman.
Bamber has also appeared on stage, playing Helena in Ibsen's Lady from the Sea at the Donmar, London, and winning 3rd prize at The Ian Charlson Awards for her performance. Her other film credits include The Show, in which she plays Becky Cornelius, and The Serpent, a Netflix/BBC series.
In television, Bamber has appeared in BBC 1's Les Miserables, playing Cosette alongside Dominic West and Olivia Coleman, and The Trial of Christine Keeler, in which she played Mandy Rice-Davies alongside Sophie Cookson and James Norton.
Bamber's recent projects include the Disney+/LucasFilm series Willow, in which she plays Elora Danon, and the upcoming film Barbie.
