Eloïse Mignon, a talented actress of French-American descent, was born in Australia and raised in Abbotsford, Melbourne, alongside her two brothers. She pursued her higher education at the University of Melbourne, where she earned a degree.
As a teenager, Mignon landed leading roles in several television series, including The Legacy of the Silver Shadow, where she played Fiona, and Silversun, where she portrayed Mara Lomax. She also played a recurring character, Bridget Parker, on the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours.
After transitioning to professional theatre productions in her early twenties, Mignon began performing in Melbourne and Sydney, working with esteemed companies such as the Melbourne Theatre Company, Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir St, and Malthouse. She later expanded her repertoire to include performances in France, appearing at L'Odéon Théâtre de l'Europe in Paris and Théâtre National de Strasbourg.
Some of Mignon's notable performances include her portrayal of Hedvig in Simon Stone's adaptation of The Wild Duck, which was presented in Oslo, Vienna, Amsterdam, and London. She also played Irina in Stone's production of Les Trois Soeurs in Paris and Anya in his production of the Cherry Orchard at MTC, as well as a role in his version of Strange Interlude at Belvoir.
Mignon has collaborated with renowned directors, including Australian film and theatre director Benedict Andrews and German auteur Falk Richter, on productions such as Je Suis Fassbinder and Complexity of Belonging, which toured in Europe and Asia.
In 2018, Mignon played the role of Cate in Anne-Louise Sarks' production of Blasted at Malthouse theatre, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile and accomplished actress.
