Emil Jonsvik is a highly accomplished film director, having started his career at the tender age of 12 with the direction of his first film, ZTV. He then went on to attend Film School at Film i Väst, also known as Trollywood, where he honed his craft and gained valuable experience in the film industry.
Throughout his career, Emil has been involved in over 100 productions, working alongside a diverse range of professionals, including electricians, film editors, photographers, and directors. His impressive body of work has earned him numerous accolades, including the award for "Most Played Hip-hop Video" and the prize for "Best Film" at the Propaganda festival, where his film "Shindig" also premiered at the prestigious Cannes film festival.
Emil's impressive resume also includes the direction and production of the film "7X/SEVEN BULLETS" for Universal Pictures, as well as the award-winning film "The Amulet", which earned him the "Best Director" prize in 2010. His film "7X/Seven Bullets" went on to win the "Best Film" award at the Belgium International Crime Film Festival in 2011.
Emil's extensive network of connections has allowed him to work with some of the biggest names in the industry, including the renowned Swedish singer Marie Fredriksson, Danish actor Kim Bodnia from the hit TV series "The Bridge", and many more. His latest projects include the films "The Robbery" and "Like Brothers", which are currently in pre-production.
