Emily Warfield's childhood was a nomadic adventure, with her family relocating to a new city or even country every year. This constant change sparked her imagination, as she relied on her creativity for companionship. She devoured books and acted out scenes in her mind, a precursor to her future passion for acting.
From the tender age of five, Emily had dreamed of being on stage, but it wasn't until her family finally settled in Arlington, Texas when she was thirteen that she was able to pursue her desire. She threw herself into the world of theatre, studying film and television production while working consistently in the Dallas area.
Her big break came when she landed the role of Maureen, the older sister of Reese Witherspoon's character, in The Man in the Moon. Following the film, Emily took a year to explore college, where she met and married her husband, Scott, at the tender age of nineteen. The couple moved to Los Angeles, where Emily worked primarily in television movies-of-the-week and episodic series.
After two years, Emily and Scott decided to start a family, opting to raise their children closer to their relatives in Texas. Since 1995, Emily has given birth to three children, completed her college education while pregnant, and even taught theatre at her alma mater, James Martin High School.
During her time teaching, Emily rediscovered her love for acting, and her supportive husband encouraged her to revive her career. The family relocated back to California, and Emily is now actively working to rebuild her acting career. She hopes to leave a lasting legacy for her children, inspiring them to live life to the fullest and without fear.
