Emma Kate Lahana, a talented individual, was born on June 27, 1984, in Auckland, New Zealand. Her early life was marked by a strong involvement in the arts, as she began taking ballet lessons at a very young age. She soon expanded her dancing repertoire to include jazz, tap, and modern styles, showcasing her versatility and dedication to her craft.
In addition to her dancing pursuits, Emma also learned to play the violin, demonstrating her eagerness to explore various artistic outlets. However, it was during her high school years that she discovered her true passion for drama and singing, which ultimately led her to audition for the long-running New Zealand TV soap, Shortland Street.
To her surprise, Emma landed the role of "Erin Kingston" and went on to play the part for two seasons. Her experience in Shortland Street laid the foundation for her future endeavors, as she continued to hone her craft by performing in numerous lead roles in musicals for the Auckland City Musical Theatre (ACMT).
In 2002, Emma took on a new challenge by starring in the Disney movie, You Wish! (2003). The following year, she secured a lead role in Power Rangers DinoThunder (2004),playing the iconic character of Kira Ford/The Yellow Ranger. This role further solidified her status as a talented young actress, and her versatility in taking on a wide range of characters.
Currently, Emma is based in the US, where she is working on recording music for her debut CD. This exciting new venture marks a significant milestone in her career, as she continues to explore her passion for music and share her talents with a wider audience.
