It wasn't until the 1990s that she began to make her mark in films directed by notable industry professionals, including Julio Medem, Juan Estelrich Jr., and Pilar Miró.
Her breakout role in "La Ardilla Roja" earned her a trifecta of prestigious awards, including the Sant Jordi Award, Cartelera Turia Award, and Spanish Actors Union Prize, all for Best Female Actress.
