Eric Casaccio's personal mission statement embodies his unwavering commitment to focus, hard work, and creativity, which he manifests through his dedication to being imaginative, empathetic, and passionate.
As a driven LGBTQ artist, Eric takes immense pride in crafting original work that showcases his unique perspective. In 2008, he made a significant impact by producing, writing, co-directing, and acting in a live charity event show that raised money for The Trevor Project.
Eric's creative endeavors have yielded two critically acclaimed and award-winning films, "Freak" and "Narcissist," both of which feature the talented Angela McEwan, who is best known for her role as Peg Nagy in Alexander Payne's Oscar-nominated film "Nebraska."
In 2020, Eric faced a significant personal loss with the passing of his mother, who had always encouraged him to pursue a career in acting. In the aftermath, he took his first audition in years and landed the lead role in "My Sick Love," earning a nomination for Best Actor in the process.
Since then, Eric has continued to book roles in indie films, rebuild his demo reel, and showcase his impressive range as an actor, tackling a variety of characters that are both mysterious and ridiculous. His acting style is heavily influenced by the Michael Chekhov Technique, which he practices daily.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Eric founded Now Your Life, a coaching practice that helps artists overcome self-doubt and unlock their full potential. When he's not working, Eric enjoys spending time with his husband in the mountains, hiking and running with their beloved pup, Vixen, a sweet border-collie born on Christmas Day.
