Eric Colton's journey in the entertainment industry commenced at the tender age of 16, when he landed his first-ever acting audition, a regional commercial in Michigan, his birthplace and childhood home.
He made his way to Los Angeles in 2003, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life.
In December of the same year, Eric earned his SAG card, paving the way for a successful career in film and television.
Over the years, he resided in both Los Angeles and New York City, primarily focusing on acting until 2015, when his screenwriting career started to flourish.
Throughout his career, Eric has accumulated over 50 professional acting credits worldwide, including notable roles on popular network TV shows, leading parts in independent films, the title role and series lead in the Amazon Prime series "Swell," and numerous other roles.
As a former student of the renowned New York acting teacher Susan Batson and a graduate of the prestigious Los Angeles Meisner Acting Technique school, Baron Brown Studio, Eric has honed his craft under the guidance of industry experts.
In 2019, Eric wrote, starred in, and produced the short film "Brothers," acting alongside his real-life brother, actor Kyle Colton.
He has eight feature-length screenplays to his name, with various projects in development.
Eric's most recent work can be seen in the Amazon Prime mini-series "The Hunter's Anthology," where he is a series regular.
Today, Eric resides in New York City.
