Eric Holder, a distinguished American lawyer, held the esteemed position of 82nd Attorney General of the United States from 2009 to 2015, serving under the administration of President Barack Obama. Notably, Holder became the first African American to occupy the role of U.S. Attorney General in both confirmed and acting capacities.
Born in the vibrant city of New York, Holder's educational trajectory began at Stuyvesant High School, followed by his undergraduate studies at Columbia College. He then pursued a law degree at Columbia Law School.
