Eric Michael Cole was born in Sacramento, California, but spent his formative years in the Pacific Northwest. His inaugural film appearance was in the 1995 movie "Mr. Holland's Opus", which was soon followed by his breakthrough role as Dean Preston in Ridley Scott's critically acclaimed film "_White Squall_". Notably, Cole's subsequent appearances in television films, such as HBO Films' "Gia" (1998) alongside Angelina Jolie, further solidified his reputation as a talented young actor.
Throughout his career, Cole has made notable appearances in various television series, including "Sons of Anarchy" (2008),"Southland" (2009),and "Law & Order" (1990),as well as numerous feature films, such as "New Best Friend" (2002),"Trash" (2014),and "Sunken City" (2014).
